Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

School supplies facilitate the teaching-learning experience, enrich educational activities, improve student motivation and contribute to the acquisition of different skills. Crayons, color pencils, erasers, folders and paper will be given to and used by the students to draw, and write. These activities facilitate the channeling of emotions. They will be able to project their inner world through drawing or express their emotions by writing them on paper.

And although it may raise doubts, children who do not have these supplies are aware of their shortcomings.

This problem, over time, can affect their confidence. Therefore, it is important that students have the right materials. This will make them feel more secure and empowered.

I also added some materials to decorate our bulletin boards to exhibit student work. Seeing their own work on display not only increases students' sense of belonging and meaning in the classroom, but also helps them learn from their classmates and see a greater purpose behind their work . All of these things can help lead to greater academic engagement and deep, meaningful learning.
