This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
I absolutely love my 2nd graders! They are at the age where they are excited about new things and intrigued with everything. Help me provide my second graders with the power to choose where they sit in my classroom! Allowing students to have choice is an effective strategy used by many teachers. Some students need to stand, lean, or rock while working on their assignments. By providing flexible seating students get to choose where they work best in the classroom. Different kinds of seats helps to make learning more fun and exciting while also motivating students to be ready to learn. I am excited about the possibility of purchasing special kinds of seats for my students!
Thank you for your consideration for the funding of my project!
