This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I'm a first year teacher who is ALREADY in love with my students, and I haven't met them yet. I love that they are beautiful, intelligent, and unique in their own ways.
Being at a Title I school in a low income area puts my students in the position where they might not have all the resources and materials they need to not only be successful but to excel in the class.
It is my hope that, with your help, I can provide them with everything and more that I can with your help.
My Project
These materials will make a difference in my students' learning because they will allow the classroom to be run smoothly and effectively.
I am looking forward to providing my students with a classroom experience that will leave them loving math and ready for next steps.
These materials will help do that by showing them that their school, teacher, and even donors like you care about them and their education.
Math is a hard subject that discourages students often. I do not want that to be the case for my class. My students will use these materials to grow to love math, education, and all the beautiful things that come with it.
