My Project

This school year we have successfully launched a calming sensory space that is used for breaks for our students in our Autistic Support program. Our current space could benefit from additional equipment to target all of the sensory systems.

The crash pad would give students a safe place to land after jumping or riding the scooter, while the bubble tube would give dysregulated students something calming to watch.

The weighted lap pads and massagers can help students sit calmly while reading a book, playing a game, or listening to music.

Our students are enrolled at a Title I school. A little bit of help goes a long way!
