My Students

We have some of the most amazing students in our school! While many face some unbelievable challenges each and every day, my kids come to school ready to learn! My students are excited about math especially Station Fridays.

At a high-needs school in Brooklyn, my students face an unimaginable range of challenges on a daily basis.

One thing that is constant in their life is school. Each day, these students come to class and try their best, despite any obstacles they may face. It is hard to get students excited about learning when they are faced with poverty and homelessness.

My Project

In 2018, the DonorsChoose.org generous community funded a Print Like the Pros project that allowed my middle schoolers access to a printer. The ink will be used for this printer by every student to print assignments and create differentiated materials.

Donating to this project will not only add to student fun, but also lead to my students' academic success.

These materials will be used daily to help us in our learning and will help engage students in learning, which leads to better work products, which in turn leads directly to student achievement.
