My Students

I work in an urban school with minimal resources. It is a trauma sensitive school in the heart of town. I would like my students to come to school and not worry about school supplies.

My students are high energy and can be very engaging with the right tools.

They look for positive stimuli to help them focus on learning.

I have a multi-cultural mix of students from urban America, Africa, and South America. Their reading levels range from Kindergarten to 3rd grade. They can be very excited with manipulatives that concretize their learning.

Looking forward to educating them to be successful adults in a life-long adventure of learning!

My Project

My students come to school with minimal supplies which means that I spend some of my own resources to supplement. I don't mind but a little help will be very much appreciated. Students also spend a long time trying to sharpen pencils which takes time away from the work they need to do.

It will be nice to have extra pencils and a sharpener that works so students can get right to work!

I believe that the Teach and Store Magnetic Easel will help with organization as well as teaching at a decent height for my students. They can easily reach and write and also keep material in a visible place for their use.
