Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! Each item will be placed in the center of the classroom work zones and used as a gathering place during mini-lessons and share time.

The paper, scissors, glue, and other supplies of this sort will be used by the students so that they may create books.

The organizational baskets will be placed at independent work spaces of our classroom and will help the Writer's Workshop process run smoothly.

The paper will be used to create anchor charts that reflect the discussions we have during our mini-lessons. The laminating sheets will be utilized throughout whole group and small group instruction to ensure lots of hands can manipulate and engage in the learning process.
