My Project

My students are spirited teens who all participate in a supplemental emotional support program called The Anchor program. They participate due to their behavioral and emotional needs.

Most students in the Anchor Program struggle with remaining focused for various reasons.

The noise canceling headphones and wired headphones will help with minimizing distractions when working independently in the Anchor room. My students are extremely attached to their phones which takes away from their focus. The phone lock box will help for students feel safe when their phones are not in their possession. The iPhone charging station will help with ensuring that students can trust that their phone can be charged when asked to be put away to help increase their focus while working in class. The snacks will help them to focus on the tasks at hand and not their hunger in the moment.

My students can excel and focus with the right supports. I thank you in advance for your help and support!
