This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hoping all is well with all of you reading this. I would love to introduce myself. I am the coach for the cheerleading team here at a public middle school in the South Bronx. We have a group of about 35 talented and dedicated girls who come from low-income backgrounds but consistently demonstrate dedication to their academics, with many of them maintaining good grades. As many know, cheerleading is a sport that doesn't get the attention it deserves yet our girls come through and show out for The South Bronx.

I am kindly requesting your support through a donation for our cheerleading team.

Our girls need cheer equipment that we are hoping will help them perform at their best. Specifically, we need sneakers in various sizes, preferably white, and cheer Poms Poms. These items will boost the team's morale and provide them with the necessary tools to participate fully in our cheerleading program.

Your contribution, no matter how big or small, will significantly impact these girls' lives and allow them to continue pursuing their passion for cheerleading. Your generosity will make a difference and help us create a positive and empowering environment for our students.
