Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me provide my students with the materials they need to have a successful school year. I want to provide my students with an inviting environment that makes them feel excited and motivated to come to school.

Providing students with their own classroom materials will make them feel welcome and help them build important organizational skills.

Young students are still learning how to navigate and express their feeling. Creating a calm down corner in our classroom will provide students with a safe and inviting space for social and emotional learning. Our STEMM students love making science experiments. In our classroom, each student gets the opportunity to present a science experiment of their choice that they find interesting, fun and educational. This project would also provide them with a lab coat for their science presentation making them even more excited and confident during their presentations.

For many students, first grade is their first time in a classroom setting. Help me make their first grade experience a wonderful school year they won't forget.
