My Project

Do you know how much courage some elementary school kids have to get on stage and perform? Well, the PS2 students are getting all the courage together and performing of their lifetime in the production of 101 Dalmatians. Most of the students who attend the school come from low-income families and migrant families as well. But by working together through art, music, and dance, we create a production for the school and community. The one thing we are missing and need your help with is costumes!

We can't be Dalmatians without puppy ears and tails; we can't be Cruella without black and white hair or a fur coat!

We will be using the materials in this project to make costumes and t-shirts for the WHOLE cast and crew of the production. With the limited number of students in each grade, this production consists of students from 2nd to 5th grade. The students in the school come from different backgrounds, families, and incomes. Everyone in the school is working to help put this production together, and the students are very excited. They have worked hard since September, from tryouts to singing and dance practice for the show. The show wouldn't be complete without costumes. We would also like to make t-shirts for all the students as a gift for all the hard work they put into the production and remember this for years to come.
