This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
In our South Georgia middle school, we are blessed to educate our society's future inventors, scientists, nurses, humanitarians, doctors, and world leaders. Our future leaders come from diverse backgrounds, but when they come together, they form a family that creates a cooperative learning community committed to excellence and success in all they do.
Even though their differences, our future leaders share a deep commitment to leading, challenging, and motivating each other to succeed in all of their goals.
My Project
The 2020-2021 school year was unique for many reasons. As a school, we encountered many challenges, but thanks to the resilience of our school family, we were able to turn minor setbacks into major comebacks. With our school transitioning back to 100% face-to-face learning for over 800 students this school year, the need for school supplies is more important now than ever before.
This project will provide our students with school supplies to help lessen the financial burden for the 2021-2022 school year.
We appreciate your generosity and support as we work around the clock to provide our middle level learners with the best opportunities to learn and grow during the 2021-2022 school year.
