Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These items are essential for the success of my students in the classroom. Our school is a Title 1 school, and many of my students' families cannot afford to provide school supplies. These supplies are necessary tools for creating a successful learning environment, which will enhance engagement and participation in my class. By removing the worry about how to obtain these supplies, we can foster a positive and effective educational experience.

In addition, a part of my curriculum involves community-based instruction, and having clipboards for students to use while writing their assignments will serve as valuable tools to support their success.

The goal of this project is to provide the necessary supplies so that my students can successfully participate in all instruction without worrying about not having the supplies they need for my class.

My students are special because they are young adults with disabilities learning how to navigate society and learn all the independent living skills they need to be successful.
