it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Decodable books are a fantastic way to explicitly teach kindergarteners to utilize their learning in phonics and read!
Beginning reading is hard but super-exciting!
These books allow children to be successful, removing barriers and instilling an early love of literacy. If you can decode the words, comprehension is organic.
We will utilize these books to teach, practice and review our progress in small groups, with our partners and independently. We can use them in class and at home, sharing our growing ability with our families. They will fill out library and assist readers for years to come!
