My Project

The Science of Reading takes into account phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension in order to teach children to read.

The Sound Wall cards and decodable readers that I have requested are aligned with the science of reading and can be implemented flawlessly into my current curriculum.

By implementing these tools I know I can help my students get the practice that they need and reach their goals of reading success! Additionally, I have added supplies like the Calming Corner Kit with Posters to help create a safe and comfortable for my learners. True learning for students happens when they feel safe, protected, and comfortable.
