Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am the second grade Language Arts teacher, so having the requested supplies in class will facilitate their learning with writing and language arts as a whole. The tabletop lamps and light curtain will help give my classroom a "homier" atmosphere where the children can feel comfortable and happier to learn.

The books I am requesting will help me give my students emotional support during these difficult times.

Unfortunately, COVID is still impacting our students both academically and emotionally. They will be able to make connections with the characters and see that with everything we may be going through, we will still see the light at the end of the tunnel.
