My Project

Real-world reading for students in our community is a must. Hands-on activities are a daily occurrence. Students will have the opportunity to research different scientific and real-world topics using an iPad, menus, various books, newspapers, using flashlights to "hunt" for items, taking pictures of activities in our classroom/school to read and write about and so much more! They will also be able to create wonderful projects to showcase their learning! For example, they will make a bottle person using the person they have researched and written about with the foam balls, iPad, and other useful materials.

Using our technology opportunities to create a school newspaper will utilize their strengths as readers and writers by using the iPad, students will be able to do some research on their own.
