This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

These books will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy! I read on the carpet to them, they complete work there, and they "read" independently! My students are interested in a variety of topics and would absolutely LOVE to explore their own copies of these Scholastic magazines. My students love books about animals and exploring real life topics. With these Scholastic newsletters, the students will be able to continue to explore new topics and enhance their joy of independent reading time. When they're done, they can take them home to share at home!
