My Students

We are from a small, east Texas town. The school I teach at is a Title I school where most of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. More often than not, my students do not have access to technology at home. The kids love getting to learn in new and different ways! I want to provide an engaging form of learning that will help the students stay motivated! I would love it if you could help me reach my goal of giving my students the best learning environment that is possible.

My Project

I have always wanted to give my students a listen to reading station. The Kindles will be perfect for this station. The students will use the Kindle to scan a QR code that will take them to a recording of the book being read aloud.

They will be able to see the pages of the book and follow along with the words as the book is being read to them.

As we rotate through our stations every student will be able to use the Kindles and listen to books being read to them!
