Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I have a tight cramped classroom. Every time we are reading to ourselves, my students ask if they can sit on the carpet. (I have two rugs in my room)

If there are too many students than I allow on the carpet, they will ask if they can sit under their desks, or under a work table in our classroom.

They even ask to sit in the hallway.

I would like my students to be able to comfortable reading. It can to get too chaotic with students moving and wiggling around in the room. At least I could provide some more comfort and incentive to read with these bean bag chairs!
