My Students

I now have the privilege to work with grades K-2 classrooms as a reading cluster teacher. I will be able to work with various learning preferences, in an ICT, 12:1:1, and general education settings. I am raising funds to help me transition my classroom to become a workspace for students of varied learning needs and goals.

In this reading classroom, all students understand that mistakes are proof students are trying our best to reach our true potential and we need enough classroom supplies to encourage a positive growth mindset!

As a reading cluster, I will teach students that range in a variety of learning needs and adaptations

We support our hard work with rewards, laughter, and the ability to do our best. Together, we will work to have cultivated a classroom that celebrates the exploration of our potential. Our students are still learning to identify themselves and use tools to expand on topics of interest.

With your help, I will be able to provide students with literacy skills and strategies intended for small group, whole group, and independent practice throughout the day. I would be so grateful for your assistance as I transform my practices and classroom for students!

My Project

My students in grades K-3 will be absolutely astonished to see the independent reading centers I will create in our brand new reading room. I am changing roles this year from a classroom Kindergarten teachers to a cluster position as a reading teacher.

I need supplies to promote the love of reading in my students, who will be able to engage with and explore sight words, sentence structures, and work independently.

The sight words, alphabets, literacy games, and reading bin storage will be used to ensure that our classroom is full of bright and beautiful centers that are accessible to student on our white boards and wall spaces. We will use colorful crayon labels and caddies to label our book bins, alphabet sheets, and magnetic words. With a magnetic sentence board, students will be able to reading daily messages and work to create sentences for interactive writing across several days. I currently only have supplies for an ICT Kindergarten classroom and need to expand the resources I can offer readers who need intervention in phonemic and phonological awareness, sight word recognition, comprehension, so as to build a love for reading!

With so many beautiful minds, I need basic reading materials and intervention tools to provide readers of ALL levels the support they need to soar!.

In our school, student needs typically range from speech and language disorders, developmental delays, social emotional. to Autism but none of the labels stop any of the students from trying their hardest and always exceeding expectations. Watch us as we create a beautiful second semester of the school year as a reading room!
