Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My Dural language students are amazing because they are learning all academics in Spanish.

Part of learning to read in a Dual-Language classroom is making sure that students investigate what they are learning using Spanish texts.

As part of this project, I am starting a collection of books that cover topics about the Solar system. These books will be stored in a reading corner away from my regular library collection in a writing center to facilitate their use for research of an informational writing piece. The visual timer helps them keep track of research time.
