My Project

Nurturing a child’s self-esteem is as crucial as teaching them the grade-level standards. As teachers, it’s important to recognize the importance of self-esteem and how it shapes a student’s behaviors in and out of the classroom. Self-esteem is the cornerstone in nurturing students, fostering their confidence, resilience, and emotional intelligence.

My students need some relatable and engaging stories which will help enhance their social-emotional learning.

The Big Cheese is an excellent story that will help students learn to celebrate their accomplishments and also the successes of others! Competition is fun but it's not the most important thing!

The Smart Cookie story is about a smart cookie who didn't always feel like a smart cookie. Can you relate? This story will interest young minds and weave important lessons of one's self-worth and embracing one’s uniqueness.

The Couch Potato story will help promote physical activity. This story helps readers understand that it's all about balancing activity and time on devices!

With your support, my students will be able to enjoy reading these engaging books with great lessons that will help them to grow their social emotional learning.
