Help me give my students Chrome-books to assist them in reading. Dyslexic students reading will often remain belabored and assistive technology is great at bridging the gap.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
My dyslexic students possess many qualities: they are full of curiosity, kindness, and most importantly love. They are dreamers, out of the box thinkers, talkers and are developing a love for READING!
My dyslexic students learn in a multi-sensory approach to become better readers and spellers.
Their neurological based language need, they have different needs.
My school serves students in grades 1-5. We are consistently one of the schools with a diverse student population and low socioeconomic. Despite the many factors, our devoted teachers instruct rigorous academics and at the same time creating a welcoming community. As a result, this year, we became the most improved campus performing school in the district earning some distinctions!
My Project
My students are loving the multisensory approach, but are limited to technology. My students are learning to love reading and we are not able to explore the many resources to enhance their reading. We have access to BookShare and Learning Ally both online libraries that offer audio books along with print text.
Having access to Chrome books in the classroom, students can explore the positive of assistive technology.
From Yale University: "Assistive technology helps dyslexics save time and overcome challenges..." Being able to hear an audiobook will open a world of wonders for my students. They will learn to travel, learn about their interests and the endless world of reading.
