My Students

My classroom is organized chaos. We are always having fun while we are learning! My classroom is filled with students that barely have the basic necessities, much less the materials they need for school.

Our school has a high poverty rate, with most students receiving free or reduced-priced lunches.

For many students in our area, school is where they experience many "firsts" or new things. Some students have never even traveled more than 30 minutes from home. It is amazing how they can accomplish so much with so little.

My Project

These books will allow me to have a full set for each student to have their own book. My students get so excited when they get new books and get to be the first to use them.

The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card not only provides quality resources for my students made by other teachers, but it will help support other teachers too.

I love purchasing reading “escape room” projects from TPT as a learning reward. It will also allow me to purchase materials to go along with our new book sets.
