This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These colorful, hands-on ABC books and activities will be an exciting introduction for my kindergarten students as we dive into our foundational letters and sounds learning.
The books and activities are versatile and engaging, perfect for small group instruction as well as a teacher read alouds.
Eventually, as the students gain more independence, the books will be part of center time for each student to explore and to apply their literacy skills.
Center time is a hands-on, exploratory time for Kindergarteners, and the literacy games will provide engaging, learning experiences all year long.
