My Project

Most reading programs come with a set of something called Sound Spelling Cards. These cards give students a key word to help them remember a sound, and all of the spellings for that sound. They are critical to reading instruction. Our new reading program does not have these cards. This set is specifically designed with research in the Science of Reading in mind.

The kit comes with the large cards for our classroom wall, as well as several posters and small sets of cards that can be used in small groups with struggling readers.
