Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Providing my students with their very own chapter books will help to increase their self-confidence and self-awareness, and foster an interest in learning in science and understanding scientists points of view.

By giving my students their own chapter books to read, it is a crucial way for students to learn science content, it is also an important part of what professional scientists actually do.

By having chapter books available for my students they will acquire skills they need to tackle science and other informational texts in second grade in order to succeed.
