My Project

Students begin kindergarten on many different reading levels. It is a teacher's job to meet them at their level and help them progress. Books at the appropriate level promote the growth of a complex system of strategic actions that help young readers to become active problem solvers. Young readers need access to books that will help them grow as readers. My kindergarteners are beginning to sound out words and identify sight words and these level readers will help them on their journey.

These books will help them practice and become fluent readers.

Leveled readers will help students with reading fluency and reading comprehension . Students will be able to read short stories that are challenging but not overwhelming .
