I have the best job in the world, and I love teaching my students in first grade. My school district is in a low-income community that is in a small, rural town. Many children need help purchasing school supplies and clothing items. I have such kind and caring students who are excited to come to school. I want to create an inviting atmosphere in my classroom that allows them to love school and value learning. I want them to feel welcomed and comfortable in the classroom.
I am appreciative of all my donors that help support my students.
I am thankful that there are wonderful people out there that want to help my students.
My Project
The donation of reading material through Scholastic magazines and grade level books will help my first graders learn how to read. he students will use these exciting and entertaining resources to practice their phonetic and sight word reading skills. The students will enjoy receiving these monthly magazines that will enhance my reading lessons in the first grade classroom. The students will be able to take home the books to keep practicing their reading skills at home too. I appreciate any donation to help put magazine and books in the hands of my first graders!
