This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my classroom of 21 eager learners —many of whom are English Language Learners—I’ve seen firsthand how essential a strong reading foundation is. My students need targeted CVC literacy resources to help them confidently decode words and build their phonemic awareness. With these hands-on, engaging activities, each child will have the opportunity to practice essential consonant-vowel-consonant word skills, a crucial step on their journey to literacy.
