My Project

I love how excited my students are for carpet/reading time! They look forward so much to reading new stories and talking about what might happen or what they think should be fixed for the characters. They are always begging for just one more story before we 'get back to work.' Little do they know, they are always working when we are reading and learning!

These new stories will make possible terrific read aloud times and wonderful discussion and reflection on carpet.

These classic stories will help students make connections to their own life and then be able to discuss them confidently and comfortably so they can learn the vocabulary, the purpose, and apply them to future learning, reading, and writing activities.
