My Students

Do you remember being in school and not remembering what you read? Well, here is your chance to help some special education students remember!

We are a class of 14 cognitively impaired students located in a high poverty, inner city.

We attend a public school and are in 7th and 8th grades but functioning on a first and second grade level. Unfortunately due to the economic crisis our funding has been majorly cut. We are currently in need of some creative graphic organizer books to help us comprehend what we read. As we read, it helps for us to write down what is going on in the story. We have great difficulty remembering due to our disabilities.These resources will truly help us.

My Project

These 9 books would be a great help to us during our independent reading. Not only will it help us to remember what we read but will be fun to complete. These books are reproducible, so we can use them from year to year. Not only will it help us but it will help future classes as well.

Through your generous donation we will be inspired to read more and thus increase our knowledge as well as our reading levels.
