This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students love learning about as many topics as they can get their hands on! Teaching students how to love learning starts with classroom materials that satisfy student curiosity! Having a classroom library with new and relevant topics will help our classroom stay current!

Pictures in story books play an instrumental part in making inferences about the story content which helps students learn to read and become interested!

Providing an inclusive, diverse and educational classroom library will promote conversations that promote critical thinking as students are learning how to read.
