My Project

Students should have the opportunity to find books they are excited to read. They should have access to books that they can identify with as well as books that expose them to cultures they might have otherwise not experienced. My students do not have a school library. Their only opportunity to check out books is in my classroom library or with book club. We have been working very hard to build an inclusive classroom library and are always asking students to recommend books to add. All of these books in this project have been recommended by students. These are books they know their peers would love to read!
