My Project

As a school librarian, it totally makes my day when a student finds a book that interests them, especially if that student has not shown any interest in borrowing books before. My hope is that each student who comes into the library finds a book that they can relate to. To do that, the library has to have a diverse collection that is inclusive -- reaching low-to-high level readers, English Language Learners (ELLs), students with learning disabilities, etc. These books would support my efforts to engage students to read more.
