Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The floor seat and books are for our in class library and calming corner. The students will have brain breaks - and what better way to take a break than with a fun book to read. My goals are to fill our 5th grade monolingual RLA classroom with enriching and fun books, along with soft seating and fidgets.

Our students are smart and independent learners.

They deserve a warm and cozy space to read a book. This will provide an opportunity for students to become better independent readers, to practice reading to each other, and learning to communicate effectively.
