My Students

One word that describes my students is determined. This hardworking group of children stop at nothing! Many of them even attend school 7 days a week in order to stay on top of their studies.

Our wonderful school serves a large immigrant community.

With that being said, most parents have to work long hours in order to provide for their families. This results in students spending longer hours in the school building. Many students consider our school their second home.

My Project

A library is where imagination and choice meet. A strong classroom library is one of the most important parts of a successful classroom.

Exploration begins through reading and understanding.

My students will benefit from the books I have selected by having a very important CHOICE. Young children should always be encouraged to read because it develops the mind in multiple ways. Expanding our classroom library will make students more excited to go book shopping.

The bins will be used as storage for our books. This will help organize the books in our library. The donations for this project will give my students a new and more exciting library experience.
