Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Reading is love. Reading is life. Reading is everything!

Students want to read when they can access engaging books that will teach them to look beyond their lives.

My students, long-term English language learners, need books that will help them develop their English language proficiency and open their eyes with fictional and real characters who will teach them about struggle and resiliency.

These books will be part of our classroom library so students can borrow and read them in class for independent reading or fun. With engaging titles, I hope to cultivate a love for reading that students will carry with them for life.
