Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are general education, ENL, and special needs students. Many students come from low-income families. They come ready to learn and get excited when they walk into the classroom.

Help me give my students what they need to become successful readers and writers.

Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning and they deserve the tools to support their learning.

My Project

The materials I am requesting will be used to create literacy centers to be used each day. The word building tiles will help develop skills in phonics and spelling. The touch and read CVC word match will help develop skills in isolating sounds in CVC words, blending sounds and decoding words. The sentence center will help my students create sentences while using the sight words they've learned.

These materials will create a fun and hands-on environment to support their learning.

Learning and knowing their sight words are imperative for reading and writing. Their reading is in sight and you can be part of that success!
