My Project

The books and other materials I am requesting will make a difference in my student's learning by enabling them to work on building their reading skills while fostering a life-long love of reading. I will ask my students to write answers to comprehension questions using complete sentences which will also help reinforce reading comprehension and grammar skills.

This project will enable me to provide a variety of books that my students can choose from and given the opportunity to read independently in the Resource Room in a tranquil space away from the traditional classroom where my students can come daily in an environment conducive to learning, find comfort in when feeling overwhelmed, or need an environment where they are able to work without distractions.

My students are special to me because they seem to want to please me. My students have difficulty with reading, math, or both. They really want to succeed and be smart. I give them lots of praises, and they like that! This project will also allow my students to look forward to sharing good news and a snack on comfy seating.
