Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school is a Title I School with 100% free lunch for all. My students are creative, respectful and have an enormous love for learning. My students are investigative learners who enjoy also engaging in deep discussion with their peers. They love hands-on and engaging projects that allow them to think outside the box. They come to school each day ready to try new things in order to grow. Our school services many students that are in temporary housing. They are great and such an inspiration to all!

Many students in my classroom complete work by using multiple modalities.

Students in my classroom have difficulty completing assignments due to the lack of resources that are available in the room. My students are eager to come to school everyday and learn despite everything they have to deal with. I believe with the right resources and materials my students will be able to soar to new heights!

My Project

With the school year over, I am already planning and gathering supplies for the next year.

I want my students to be excited on the first day of school and have their classroom library set up with brand new books on their reading level.

I'm asking for books that will be read and used throughout the year. These books will be at their A-Z reading level. These books will ensure have my students excited and ready to learn. They will be used in a variety of ways either during small group time, whole group or even for students to take home.
