Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Starting the school year online has been quite the adventure. Students have been trying their best to navigate their academics along with the world around them. I am amazed by their perseverance every single day. They inspire me, they challenge me, and every day we are growing as a classroom family... together!

There is nothing more rewarding than being a teacher.

I feel incredibly grateful when I come across kind souls that help grow our learning environment and potential! Your help means the world to us and we truly value your donations.

My Project

During distance learning, we have been going through books very quickly. Students are excited to read, listen, and connect through the varying titles that I am currently able to share with them. Whether it is through live read aloud, recorded read aloud, or independent virtual reading. The verdict is that our class loves stories!

The books in this collection are books that are diverse, inclusive, and empowering.

But most importantly, they cover topics that students have been discussing in class. In order to continue inspiring their beautifully creative minds, our classroom would greatly appreciate your donation which would ultimately provide us with over 30 books and a bookcase to hold them!
