My Project

The students that come to the Library really show an interest in reading, even the Spanish speaking students who are learning English. With my help and guidance, I show them books that stimulate their curiosity, wether it be about snakes, sharks, the Civil War, historical fiction, mysteries, Dr. Seuss, or the popular Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Dog Man, and The Last Kids on Earth.

These new books will pique their interest.

The students will get excited to read them; reading them quickly because they can't put these new books down. This will improve their literacy, reading ability, and comprehension. The Spanish speakers will have popular books to read as well, along with their bilingual classmates. Reading independently is a win win.
