My Project

First grade is a critical year for determining what type of reader a person becomes. Studies show that a lack of foundational reading skills developed in first grade sets off a detrimental domino effect for the rest of a student's academic career.

Help me provide my students with a vast selection of books that are individually tailored to their reading levels and interests.

The library bins will allow me to have the organization needed to teach students independence in selecting books at their levels to help instill confidence and a love for reading for years to come.
