My Project

My students attend a school in a low wealth county in rural North Carolina. Despite challenges posed by attending a smaller school in a rural area, my students are bright and capable and need opportunities to see their role in a world that might be larger than they can imagine due to lack of opportunities or experiences.

The Travels of a T-Shirt in the Global Economy illustrates the challenges of global trade and how those policies impact not only the world, but also local communities like our own.

We will use this text to enhance our study of global economic systems and how they are affected by trade policies.
