Help Mrs. Watkins

I am a Media Specialist for a high school in rural Pender County, North Carolina. We currently have 51% of our students receiving free lunch and 6.75% are English Limited. Being a poor county, with an increasing population, our funds are extremely limited. Also, we have a very diverse social and economic pool of students. We are in the process of implementing a special reading section to introduce Theatrical Reading to our students. We will need three books and movie posters to continue our “Reading Hollywood” library program. The purpose of this program is to entice students to read literary works of fiction that they have already seen on screen. The books and posters are for the titles: Big Fish, Seabiscuit, and Mystic River.
