Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love my students and their willingness to learn Spanish. We use different activities to learn Spanish, but the best and most interesting is reading. Students make the most connections and feel confident in learning the language when they read a book and completely or mostly understand what each chapter is about.
I am requesting copies of Pobre Ana: Una Novela Breve y Facil Totalmente en Espanol.
At the same time, students are learning about a different Spanish country and culture, because that is the most important part about learning a new language – learning about the culture and how each of our 21 Spanish-speaking countries are different.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
