My Project

As an educator, I am always looking for ways to engage my students and inspire their love of reading. One author whose books never fail to captivate and inspire young readers is Dav Pilkey. His unique storytelling style and humor have made him a favorite among students of all ages. That’s why I’m excited to introduce a new classroom project that will revolve around the delightful books written by Dav Pilkey.

In this project, my students will dive into an author study focused on Dav Pilkey’s most beloved works, such as the Dog Man series, Captain Underpants, and Super Diaper Baby.

These books are not only full of humor and adventure, but they also promote creativity, critical thinking, and empathy.

I am seeking funding to purchase a set of Dav Pilkey’s books for our classroom library, so every student can have their own copy to enjoy. The books will be used in our author study, ensuring that each child has the opportunity to engage deeply with the material and explore their love of reading.
