Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My students come from a very low-income area. All students receive free breakfast and lunch. Coming from a low-income family does not stop my students from trying to learn and do their best to succeed. They are always willing to try something new.
My students are great examples of what it is to show courage.
Being in Kindergarten, most are new coming into school. They are learning so many new things. I have several students that are English Language Learners. Even though they do not always understand they will try their best.
My Project
These materials will allow students to reinforce what they are, or have been learning. Students will be using hands on learning with games that are enjoyable. This project will give students a better understanding than just worksheets to grow reading skills.
Research shows that children learn better when playing.
These are great learning games that will help students gain more confidence in their reading skills they are developing. I will be using these resources at teacher table and centers.
